There are a few different ways that Vendors can connect with Sages on Sagetap, as well as various meeting types both parties can engage in. This article will provide a quick review of how Sages and Vendors can engage, and what each meeting type entails.

Campaign Applications

Sages can apply to meet with Vendors via the Campaigns Vendors create. Vendors can choose from one of the following meeting types when creating a Campaign:

  1. Product Pitch: The Vendor pitches their product to a Sage, in hopes of the Sage opting-in after the session

  2. Research Call: The Vendor shares the ins and outs of their product with the Sage, as well as learns more about the issues that the Sage is looking to solve

Note: Sages are not required to submit post-session feedback or an opt-in decision after a Research Call.

Sages can state their intent to purchase when applying to a Campaign. If they state that their intent is lower than 100%, we offer to meet with that Sage at a discounted rate. See the Sage Intent cost matrix below:

  • High intent = 100% of Rate

  • Medium Intent = 80% of Rate

  • Low Intent = 60% of Rate

Sage Invites

Vendors can invite Sages to participate in their Campaigns, bypassing the need for Sages to apply to Campaign listings.

You can learn more about sending Sage invites here.

Discover

Sages have access to a Discover tab on their Sagetap portal where they can browse Vendor products and book meetings to learn more.

Meetings booked through the Discover page are free for Vendors. However, Vendors can request paid feedback from Sages after a meeting, which Sages can choose to accept or decline.

Vendors can also enable Instabook for their product. With Instabook activated, Sages can click 'Book Meeting,' automatically scheduling a meeting in both their own and the assigned Campaign presenters' calendars, without requiring Vendor approval for Sage applications.

To enable Instabook, go to your Product settings and toggle on Instabook.

Note: Enabling Instabook requires assigning presenter access to at least one team member with updated calendar settings to ensure accurate scheduling.

You can learn more about enabling presenter access and scheduling in Sagetap here.
