Sage-to-Sage interactions are a core part of the Sagetap experience, enabling technology leaders to share insights, exchange perspectives, and collaborate effectively.

For more context, see our Sage-to-Sage Connect & Contribute article

Interaction Principles

  • Always remain professional and constructive by keeping exchanges respectful and solution-focused.

  • Contribute insights and knowledge that align with the discussion topic.

  • Address differing viewpoints thoughtfully, framing critiques as opportunities to refine ideas.

  • Keep sensitive information confidential and avoid sharing it outside the conversation.

  • Focus on collaboration rather than self-promotion or solicitation.

Before Sage-to-Sage Calls

  • Add a personalized message when sending an invite to communicate what you hope to learn on the call.

    • After an invite is sent or received, you can use the chat functionality to send messages prior to or after the call.

  • Accept or decline requests promptly, so that your peer Sage can get the timely information they need.

  • Add relevant expertise to your profile, update tools in your stack, and close initiatives so that peers can stay up to date on what role you play in your organization and what tools you want to learn about or are knowledgable about.

Note : If you’ve sent or received an invitation, you can use the chat feature to discuss the call agenda or ,ask questions privately before or after the call.

Read the help center article Sagetap Messaging for more information on the feature.

During Sage-to-Sage Calls

  • Join on time with your camera and microphone ready.

  • Prepare in advance by reviewing your peer’s profile and background.

  • Take calls in a quiet environment where you can give your peer your full attention.

  • Set context by sharing your goals, challenges, or areas of focus at the start.

  • Engage thoughtfully by asking meaningful questions and giving your peer space to contribute.

  • Stay balanced and solution-oriented, keeping conversations focused and productive.

Note: Take notes, respect time limits, and encourage collaboration by supporting and building on each other’s ideas. For more guidance, see the General Community Guidelines.
