Every Sage on Sagetap is verified to ensure that you’re engaging with real peers: industry leaders, decision-makers, and experts who share your same level of sincerity and professionalism.
Our verification process is designed to maintain trust and create a space where meaningful, high-quality conversations can happen.

Verification Requirements
To participate as a Sage on Sagetap, all members must complete verification that confirms their identity and professional background.
You will need to:
Verify your account using a valid work email address that matches the company listed on your profile.
Personal email addresses (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) cannot be used for verification.
Ensure all profile details accurately match your current company, including:
Title
Seniority
Company size
Company headquarters location
Industry
Provide a valid LinkedIn profile that reflects your current or most recent professional experience.
Keeping your LinkedIn up to date will help us verify you quickly and accurately.
If you are between roles, you can indicate this by selecting an end date for your most recent position. You’ll be asked to re-verify once you begin a new role.
If your employment changes, it is required that you update your profile and re-verify your account using your new company information and work email.
Verification Status
Once you sign up, your account is placed in a Pending status while our team reviews your information. We verify your profile details and professional background to confirm eligibility. During re-verification, we may also review your activity and engagement on the platform.
Active - Your account has been successfully verified and approved. You now have full access to all features and can engage freely on the Sagetap platform.
Pending -Your account is still under review. This means we’re verifying your information. You’ll be notified as soon as your status changes.
Investigating - Your account is temporarily under investigation while our team reviews updated information, recent activity, or engagement on the platform. This status does not necessarily indicate an issue, it simply means we’re conducting a deeper review before confirming your verification outcome or assessing your engagement before activating your profile.
Blocked - Your account has been restricted due to suspicious activity or inaccurate information provided during signup. If you believe this was done in error, please contact our support team for assistance - [email protected].
Waitlisted - Your account does not currently match our ideal customer profile (ICP) and has been placed on a waitlist until our community expands. We will reach out once we broaden our scope to include additional roles.
Maintaining Community Integrity
Our verification standards exist to protect the credibility of our network and the professionals within it.
We routinely monitor for suspicious or inconsistent activity to ensure compliance with our Community Guidelines.
If an account is found to:
Contain intentionally inaccurate or misleading information, or
Engage in behavior that suggests fraudulent or bad-faith participation,
it may be subject to investigation and potential removal from the platform.
These measures are in place not to exclude, but to preserve the value of Sagetap for every verified Sage, ensuring that your expertise and time are respected within a community built on authenticity and trust.
