When applying to a Campaign on Sagetap, it is important to keep in mind various elements of your presence and intentions on the platform. This article will review some best practices to keep in mind when submitting applications on Sagetap.
Profile Quality
Vendors favor meeting with Sages whose profiles contain the following elements:
Profile Completeness
Prior to submitting applications, it is best to ensure your profile is at least 90% complete. This means that you have filled out your bio, domain expertise, cloud environment, and noted any other tools you are currently using.
Profile Badges
Besides your profile Verification Badge, Vendors like to see the other Sagetap badges reflected on Sage profiles. These badges are as follows:
Evaluator: +10% of sessions convert to next steps
Heavy Evaluator: +25% of sessions convert to next steps
Verified Buyer: Has purchased a product via Sagetap
Profile Accuracy
It is important to make certain your profile is up to date on a regular basis. Aspects of your profile that should be updated regularly include but are not limited to title, company size, location, industry, and Initiatives.
Application Quality
The quality of your application plays a significant role in your acceptance rate from Vendors.
Vendors appreciate thoughtful, specific answers to their questionnaire questions. Avoid yes/no answers and generic responses when at all possible, as this conveys a lack of intentionality.
We understand that providing detailed answers to all Vendor questions can take some time, so to lessen the lift of applying, Sages have access to an Answer Bank that contains all past answers to pull from when applying to new Campaigns.
Note: We discourage relying heavily on ChatGPT when filling out a Vendor questionnaire, as this conveys a lack of genuine interest to the Vendor.
