There are a few different ways to meet with vendors on the Sagetap platform, and several meeting types to participate in. This article will provide a holistic review of how to browse for meetings in Sagetap, as well as the different kinds of meetings we offer.
Credit Opportunities
On the left navigation bar of your Sagetap portal, you will see the Opportunities tab. Here, you can browse and filter through different vendor Campaigns by Session Type, Category, and match percentage.
Three kinds of credit calls are offered:
Product Pitch: See a complete sales presentation and live demo tailored to you. Learn about a new solution and decide if it fits your needs.
βProduct Feedback: See a vendor's product and positioning, then provide candid critique. Influence their strategy and build relationships in a low-pressure setting.
βResearch Call: Share your expertise through direct Q&A, and help shape products that solve real problems. No sales pitch or demo, just honest dialogue about your real-world experience.
Each opportunity will clearly state which kind of call the vendor is looking to facilitate, as well as how well matched you are with the given opportunity.
After a Sales Pitch or Product Feedback call, providing post-session feedback is required. We request that this feedback be provided within 72 hours of the end of the call.
Note: Should you knowingly meet with a vendor you have already connected with outside of Sagetap, you will not receive credits for the call.
Sage Invites
Vendors can invite Sages to connect on Sagetap, bypassing the need for Sages to apply to Campaign listings.
Invites function effectively the same way as the Opportunities listed above, the difference being that Sages are sought out by vendors directly so that Sages do not need to respond to a vendor's Campaign questionnaire.
When a vendor sends you an invite, you will receive an email notification as well as a notification in your Sagetap Inbox. You can then decide whether to accept or decline the invite, and move forward though the scheduling flow.
Browse Products
On the left navigation bar of your Sagetap portal, you will see a tab titled Browse Products. Here you can parse through different products and apply to meet with vendors to learn more about their offerings.
These products will automatically be sorted by best match. Apply filters to hone in on specific use cases and product types relevant for different solutions, as well as filter by rating, company size, HQ location, and other relevant organization details.
You can enable the Earn Credits toggle in the top right corner of the Browse Product page to only view opportunities where credits are awarded.
For sessions where credits are not provided, vendors can still request feedback from Sages after the meeting, which a Sage can either accept or decline.
