There are a few different ways to meet with Vendors on the Sagetap platform, and several meeting types to participate in. This article will provide a holistic review of how to browse for meetings in Sagetap, as well as the different kinds of meetings we offer.

Paid Opportunities

On the left navigation bar of your Sagetap portal, you will see a tab for Paid Opportunities. Here, you can browse and filter through different Vendor Campaigns by Session Type, Category, and match percentage.

Two kinds of paid calls are offered:

  1. Sales Pitch: The Vendor pitches their product to a Sage, in hopes of the Sage opting-in after the session

  2. Research Call: The Vendor shares the ins and outs of their product with the Sage, as well as learns more about the issues that the Sage is looking to solve

Each opportunity will clearly state which kind of call the Vendor is looking to facilitate, as well as how well matched you are with the given opportunity.

After a Sales Pitch, providing post-session feedback is required. We request that this feedback be provided within 72 hours of the end of the call.

Note: Should you knowingly meet with a vendor you have already connected with outside of Sagetap, you will not be compensated for the call.

Sage Invites

Vendors can now invite Sages to participate in their Campaigns, bypassing the need for Sages to apply to Campaign listings.

Invites function effectively the same way as the Paid Opportunities listed above, the difference being that Sages are sought out by Vendors directly so that Sages do not need to respond to a Vendor's Campaign questionnaire.

When a Vendor sends you an invite, you will receive an email notification as well as a notification in your Sagetap portal. The invite will show up in your Meetings tab with a meeting type stating Invite, and a status of New Paid Invite.

Discover

On the left navigation bar of your Sagetap portal, you will see a tab titled Discover. Here you can parse through different products and apply to meet with Vendors to learn more about their offerings.

You can apply filters to these products based on category, and will also be provided with automatically categorized products on the basis of what is Featured, Trending, New this Month, and most related to your Initiatives.

Meetings booked on the Discover page can be paid or unpaid; you can differentiate the two by the absence or presence of the Earn $ label.

You can enable the Paid Only toggle in the top right corner of the Discover page to only view paid opportunities.

For unpaid meetings, Vendors can still request paid feedback from Sages after a session, which Sages can either accept or decline.
