Follow-up Meetings on Sagetap

Written by Kayla

What Are Follow-up Meetings?

Follow-up Meetings give you the opportunity to continue a conversation with a vendor after completing an initial Awareness or Research Call on the platform.

If you'd like to explore a product further, ask additional questions, or discuss something in more detail, you can request a follow-up meeting directly through Sagetap.

ℹ️ You remain in control of when, and with whom, you share your identity. Sagetap will not disclose your identity to other Sages, vendors, or third parties. Your participation remains anonymous unless you personally choose to reveal your identity.

How Do Follow-up Meetings Work?

After completing an initial call, you'll see the option to request a Follow-up Meeting as part of your Next Steps if you're interested in continuing the conversation.

You can:

  • Decide how to continue your connection: Select whether to share your identity or remain anonymous.

  • Propose meeting times: Suggest dates and times that work for you (up to three months in advance, although a sooner, specific date is the ideal).

  • Share your calendar: Allow the vendor to select a time that works for both of you.

Once you've submitted your request, the vendor will receive a notification to accept and schedule the meeting.

You can also request additional follow-up meetings through the Activity section of your connection.

Are Follow-up Meetings Compensated?

Follow-up Meetings are unpaid and do not earn Sagetap credits.

These meetings are intended as a reconnection window to give you and the vendor an opportunity to continue a conversation on the platform and prevent leaving the connection open-ended.

There is no limit to the number of follow-up meetings you can request through this feature.

Where Can I Find My Follow-up Meetings?

Scheduled and completed Follow-up Meetings will appear in your connection's activity history and on your Recordings page. Transcripts and recordings will be available as usual.

If you cancel a scheduled Follow-up Meeting, your connection with the vendor will be marked as Passed. You are still able to reschedule a meeting as normal.

ℹ️ You can reschedule any time, but cancelling without rescheduling counts as a missed meeting and will impact your follow-up rate. If your interest changes, you can update your deal stage any time from your Connections page.
