HubSpot Integration for Vendors

Sagetap’s HubSpot integration allows vendors to automatically send and organize lead data directly in their HubSpot account.

This integration helps vendors keep their CRM up to date automatically, ensuring that valuable lead data and feedback from Sages are captured and organized without manual entry.

To set up this integration, you can navigate to SettingsIntegrations, then click Connect:

When enabled, Sagetap creates records in your HubSpot instance when a Sage opts in after a meeting. HubSpot deals created by Sagetap follow this naming format:

Sagetap meeting with {sage company name}

Note: Only activity that occurs after the integration is enabled will sync (no retroactive data is captured)


Data Written to HubSpot from Sagetap

Contact

  • Email

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Company

  • Associated links (Deal, Call)

Company

  • Name

  • Domain

  • State (U.S.) or country (international)

  • Associated links (Deal)

Deal

  • Deal name: Sagetap meeting with {sage company name}

  • Associated links (Call)

Call

  • Description of the meeting (including participants, links, and context)

  • Timestamp (meeting start time)

  • Duration (milliseconds)

  • Status (always COMPLETED)

  • Title: Sagetap meeting with {company name} ({sage first name} {sage last name})

  • Associated links (Deal, Contact)

Note (Created after feedback submission)

  • Feedback content

  • Timestamp of the feedback event

  • Associated links (Contact, Deal)


Important Limitations to Note

  • No retroactive sync: Only activity after enabling the integration is included

  • No record updates: Sagetap creates records but does not update them after creation

  • No read access: Sagetap cannot access or read your existing HubSpot data

Note: Custom field mapping and importing or syncing data from HubSpot into Sagetap is not available at this time.

If HubSpot detects a duplicate contact, it may return an error with an existing contact ID. In these cases:

  • Sagetap parses the returned ID

  • The new record is linked to the existing HubSpot contact
