Within your Sagetap workspace, team admins can invite users and assign them roles that determine their permissions within the workspace. The scope of a user's permissions will differ depending on whether you would like the user to have full access to all actions, operational access, or viewing access.

This system of roles and permissions allows for more flexible and secure access management across the platform. See below a breakdown of the different user roles and the actions they can take within your workspace.

Workspace Admin

This user type has full access to all actions within their workspace. A workspace admin can:

  • Add users to the workspace

  • Manage roles and permissions

  • Create Campaigns

  • Send Sage invites

  • Handle inbound Sage applications

Workspace Member

This user type has operational access but cannot manage workspace membership. They can:

  • Create Campaigns

  • Send Sage invites

  • Handle inbound Sage applications

Workspace Guest

Guests have view-only access, and are granted no operational permissions.

Workspace Admins will assign roles when inviting new users to their Sagetap space and can edit them at any time.

There are two methods that Workspace Admins can utilize to invite new users to their workspace and assign them their appropriate role.

Method 1

  1. In the left navigation bar of your Sagetap portal, click on the Invite Team Member tab. A pop-up will prompt you to provide the user's email and select their role.

Method 2

  1. Click on the Account Settings tab within the left navigation bar of your Sagetap portal.

  2. Click on Members --> Invite new members. You will be shown the same pop-up and be prompted to provide the new user's email and role type.

Here, you can additionally change user roles if needed by clicking on the user role dropdown.
